Visitors at NWRRC
Visitation is a vital component of our residents’ successful transition back into the community. Each resident is afforded the opportunity to apply for visiting privileges on behalf of family and associates. Residents are not permitted visits until the U.S. Probation Office has approved visitors, with the exception of one NWRRC staff approved visit soon after a resident’s arrival. Residents are limited to 5 approved visitors while at NWRRC. Visitor application forms may be picked up at NWRRC.
All visiting is to occur in the lobby or adjacent visitation rooms if available, and must be visible to Security Staff at all times. Upon entering the facility, visitors are required to provide state issued photo identification. Visitors’ personal items, such as handbags and coats, will be searched by the Security Staff. Residents may receive items such as clothing and hygiene products from approved visitors during visiting hours only and with pre-approval of staff. Inappropriate physical closeness and public displays of affection, or other activities deemed inappropriate, are grounds for termination of visiting privileges. NWRRC staff has the right to terminate visits at any time.
