In May 2012, the U.S. Department of Justice issued standards under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA), which provides guidelines for community corrections-based organizations to ensure clients are free from sexual abuse, assault or harassment during their stay in a residential program. NWRRC is committed to a zero-tolerance policy regarding any client abuse, assault or harassment by another resisdent, employee, volunteer, or vendor with whom business is conducted.
